Growing up in the mountains of West Virginia, I always felt surrounded by art. The individual shapes of leaves, tumbled stones in the mountain streams, unique patterns in the frozen ice, and the changing colors of every season captured my imagination. Nature has influenced my ongoing interest in art and the pursuit of the creative process.
The jewelry I make is my interpretation of nature in wearable form. Attending numerous classes at William Holland School of Lapidary Arts over the years, I learned a variety of techniques, which include piercing, forging, fold forming and cold connections.
When not working full time at my day job, I am in my studio refining my jewelry techniques and creating the next new piece. My creations are original designs and handcrafted from raw materials, making each piece unique and one of a kind.
